Hello and thank you for your interest in Chiropractic and specifically my office. I first became interested in Chiropractic when I was 15 years old. I injured my back snow skiing and my father took me to a Chiropractor. There was an almost instant feeling of relief with my first treatment and my Mom and Dad found relief with Chiropractic. The idea of helping people interested me as a career choice and I was on a mission to complete my education quickly. I enjoyed growing up in Michigan where in winters I began snow skiing which became my favorite sport, I would ice skate on the lake in my back yard, and in the summers I would water-ski with my sister and fish. My family was in the medical field, as my father was a Veterinarian for thorough-bread racehorses, my mother was a laboratory technician for my father, and one of my sisters was a Registered Nurse.
After my undergraduate classes, I moved to Whittier California to attend Chiropractic College. I eventually settled into my current practice in Indio in 1991. My personal life is centered around my wife Christine and my two daughters Danielle and Rachelle. We enjoy snow skiing, going to the beach, ocean kayaking, playing “Rock Band”, and being together. I enjoy coaching Rachelle’s AYSO soccer team and enjoy attending many of my daughters dance recitals.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you meet your health care goals.
Dr. Mike Dawson
